Arcadis is seeking a Staff Highway Design Engineer to join their team in New York, NY. This role involves developing innovative solutions for infrastructure projects related to roadways and offers opportunities for growth in a supportive environment. The position can be remote or in-office.

Requirements

4+ years’ work experience which includes experience on DOT projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
EIT
Proficiency with CAD particularly Microstation and OpenRoads.
Familiarity with DOT design standards and policies.

Responsibilities

Assist the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways.
Perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects including planning and technical design.
Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with client needs.
Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters.
Maintain project schedules and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
