Job Description

The role involves leading the design and engineering of data center systems, focusing on power management, rack design, and liquid cooling. Candidates will work on innovative solutions to optimize efficiencies and ensure compliance with industry standards while collaborating with a team of experts in a cutting-edge environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in data center power management.
  • 12 years of experience in data center rack design.
  • 12 years of experience with liquid cooling.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license (preferred).
  • Experience in designing modular building scale assemblies, with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis (preferred).
  • Experience in estimating, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).
