Job Description

The Applied Scientist role in the Brand Science team focuses on providing insights to measure and optimize brand marketing budgets. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges related to advertising impact measurement and budget allocation across various platforms.

Requirements

  • Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative fields is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and BI tools for data analysis/visualization.
  • In-depth understanding of and experience with experimental design.

Responsibilities

  • Apply statistical/econometric methods to estimate the incremental impact of changes in marketing and product strategy on brand-relevant KPIs.
  • Build and improve technical tools for marketing problems, including media mix models and optimization engines.
  • Interface closely with external partners to understand the capabilities and limitations of their platforms.
  • Collaborate with in-house teams to develop actionable customer insights and recommendations.
