Job Description

Arcadis is seeking an ITS & Traffic Project Engineer to join their transportation team in Nashville, TN. The role involves leading the delivery of programs and projects focused on traffic engineering, improving safety and operations while collaborating with senior managers and engineers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • EIT with ability to obtain TN PE within 1 year of hire
  • Must possess a U.S. Driver’s License
  • Experience with Traffic Analysis and Engineering principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects and programs.
  • Provide written and verbal updates on the status of projects to clients and internal senior management.
  • Present technical results and recommendations to clients.
  • Coordinate with a wide range of subject matter experts to successfully deliver client projects.
  • Work with client managers and operational leaders to develop project pursuit strategies and plans.
  • Utilize knowledge and experience conducting and documenting traffic studies.
  • Assist engineers in developing technical approaches and review technical results prepared by others.
  • Support the project team in the preparation of traffic engineering plans.
  • Coordinate and interface with clients to discuss technical elements of the project.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
