Microsoft AI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to enhance the capabilities of Microsoft Copilot. The role involves developing metrics for usage and quality, driving product insights, and conducting hands-on analysis of telemetry data to influence product decisions.

Requirements

Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience
OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience
Experience with prompt engineering and using LLMs
Experience building data pipelines to support analytics and experiment scenarios
Proficiency in using one or more programming or scripting language like Python, R, C#

Responsibilities

Develop metrics for Copilot usage and quality
Drive product insights, opportunity analysis, and track metrics to support Microsoft Copilot
Enable A|B experimentation for new features
Articulate insights, storyboard with data and communication to influence leadership
Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, design-driven, product development cycle
