Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water Wastewater Engineer to join their Resilience Water Team in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves providing technical expertise, leading projects in water and wastewater facility engineering, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring project efficiency and quality.

Requirements

10 years of water/wastewater experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field
PE License
Project experience including design and construction of water treatment and distribution systems and/or wastewater collection and treatment systems
Excellent technical engineering skills in the water/wastewater practice area
Strong written and oral communication skills
Functional experience with MS Office applications

Responsibilities

Manage and lead projects/tasks and clients in the planning, design and construction of water and wastewater facilities
Supervise and support the work of team members while mentoring junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff
Coordinate and manage the execution of projects in collaboration with other disciplines and management consultants
Develop water and wastewater planning and design initiatives from project inception to completion
Prepare comprehensive construction packages for engineering, procurement, and construction of water systems
Create detailed cost estimates and project schedules
Oversee detailed engineering calculations and lead complex analyses
Produce high-quality deliverables for clients, including technical memoranda, reports, and presentations
Collaborate with national communities of practice and subject matter experts
Work directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
