Job Description

As a Senior Travel Analyst, you will analyze travel data to drive data-driven decision-making within the Optimize Travel Analytics team. You will develop insights, support business needs, and collaborate globally to enhance the firm's travel strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

University degree in business, finance, engineering, operations, or another analytical field preferred
2+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business, consulting, or quantitative fields
Strong understanding of analytics tools and problem-solving methodologies to analyze and interpret data effectively
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in data visualization and database tools, including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, KNIME, and Snowflake
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels in a team environment
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong time management skills to thrive in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
Familiarity with travel-related data or experience in the travel industry is a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels

Responsibilities

Analyze travel data and generate actionable insights
Support ad-hoc requests to address evolving business needs
Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility
Shape how generative artificial intelligence is embedded into workflows
Prepare, process, and analyze large volumes of spend data and portfolio trends
Suggest and implement improvements to processes
Contribute to global initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across regions
