Job Description

As a Senior Travel Analyst, you will analyze travel data to drive data-driven decision-making within the Optimize Travel Analytics team. You will develop insights, support business needs, and collaborate globally to enhance the firm's travel strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • University degree in business, finance, engineering, operations, or another analytical field preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business, consulting, or quantitative fields
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools and problem-solving methodologies to analyze and interpret data effectively
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data visualization and database tools, including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, KNIME, and Snowflake
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong time management skills to thrive in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
  • Familiarity with travel-related data or experience in the travel industry is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels

Responsibilities

  • Analyze travel data and generate actionable insights
  • Support ad-hoc requests to address evolving business needs
  • Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility
  • Shape how generative artificial intelligence is embedded into workflows
  • Prepare, process, and analyze large volumes of spend data and portfolio trends
  • Suggest and implement improvements to processes
  • Contribute to global initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across regions
