Job Description

Apple is seeking a self-motivated teammate to lead teams in developing complex new technologies and experiences in system software. The role involves overseeing the software development cycle from concept to delivery, collaborating with various teams, and driving the definition and execution of new features.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on engineering or project/program management experience
Deep knowledge of embedded SW/systems SW (low level software, device drivers, and/or pre-silicon)
Experience putting together structure and schedules to mitigate ambiguity
Experience aligning teams around architecture, milestones, and execution plans

Responsibilities

Drive large cross-functional efforts to build features ground-up
Partner with engineering management to oversee all aspects of projects
Define, schedule, prioritize, track, measure and communicate status up to exec levels
Identify and mitigate risks, remove road blocks and facilitate communication between teams
Lead efforts across teams representing multiple layers of the software stack and other cross-functional partners
