Job Description

In the role of Specialist - External Knowledge Data and Research Outsourcing, you will act as a strategic sourcing partner for the External Capabilities & Insights team, managing client service portfolios. Your responsibilities will include leading sourcing initiatives, overseeing operational activities, and implementing strategies related to ESG and risk management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, strategy, consulting, or research/knowledge management
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders as a peer
  • Experience in a knowledge-related function, with an understanding of data, information services, and third-party contracting risks (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Global experience navigating large organizations, managing budgets, performance metrics, and vendor negotiations

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing initiatives and oversee operational and growth activities
  • Implement strategies related to ESG, risk management, and automation
  • Establish and refine best-in-class sourcing processes and performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Enhance sourcing effectiveness through spend analysis and detailed cost assessments
  • Formulate strategies, align requirements, and manage RFPs
  • Develop business cases and practice disciplined negotiation
