Requirements
PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of classical and modern control theory (PID, state-space, observers, MPC)
Familiarity with power electronics topologies and motor types (PMSM, induction)
Proficient in model-based design using MATLAB/Simulink
Experience in battery or motor and inverter algorithm development
Familiarity with functional safety concepts, ISO 26262 requirements
Responsibilities
Develop advanced control strategies and algorithms for battery management systems and power electronic converters
Support the development of control strategies ensuring optimal and safe battery operation
Design robust Model-Based Design architecture using MATLAB/Simulink
Improve electronic controls development processes and tools
Design and program embedded firmware in C/C++
Develop test processes, complete tests, and analyze test results
Verify and validate algorithm software, performing failure analysis
