Job Description

This role involves leading teams of Software Engineers to ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including modern engineering practices. The position requires managing team performance, financial aspects, and vendor relationships while implementing Agile and DevOps methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience.
  • Experience in full-stack software development deliverables.
  • Knowledge of IT Security and Compliance.
  • Financial management of software expenses including AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
  • Familiarity with Lean-Agile principles and practices.
  • Experience with DevOps and Release on Demand.
  • Strategic IT supplier relationship management.
  • Regulatory Risk Compliance Management.
  • Release planning using inputs from the prioritized roadmap.
  • Experience in Agile and DevSecOps Environments.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, including coding standards, testing, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of Software Engineers in their daily performance.
  • Compile and present Management Reports on team performance.
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap with software development deliverables.
  • Ensure product and organization milestones/goals are met within budget.
  • Supervise team adherence to internal IT processes and policies.
  • Manage financial aspects of teams and software expenses.
  • Identify and apply Lean-Agile principles to create high-performing teams.
  • Implement DevOps and a continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Leverage a vendor management framework for strategic IT supplier relationships.
  • Evaluate design and effectiveness of controls against industry frameworks.
  • Plan and manage the release of capabilities and products.
