Job Description

The Tesla AI Hardware team is seeking an experienced engineer to productize High-Speed IO and Mixed Signal IPs, focusing on testability, silicon evaluation, and performance optimization. The role involves collaborating with design teams and developing test plans to ensure functionality and yield of advanced AI chips that power Tesla's innovative technologies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of related experience in characterization of High-Speed IO PHYs such as DDR, PCIE, SerDes, UFS
  • 5-10 years of related experience in characterization of Mixed Signal IPs such as PLL, Temp Sensor, Voltage/Droop detector
  • Experience in silicon data processing, statistical analysis, scripting for automation
  • Experience in correlating IP parametric data between ATE & bench/system
  • Hands on experience of Advantest/Teradyne ATE platforms is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Set up test plans for High-Speed IO and Mixed Signal IPs in the SOC
  • Work with design to ensure relevant IP testability hooks are implemented
  • Define IP related test hardware design specifications for wafer probe and final test
  • NPI development of different tests including loopbacks, analog parametric tests
  • Own production test content, limits to ensure IP functionality, performance & yield
  • Establish calibration/trim routines, correlate system effectiveness
