Job Description

Requirements

  • Ability to operate with limited resources, work independently, meet tight deadlines, and act with urgency
  • Proven experience in building and managing effective program management tools and processes
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working in highly cross-functional settings
  • Exceptional organizational and delegation skills with the ability to own the product roadmap

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional programs from end-to-end, covering various areas of thermal engineering while coordinating with manufacturing, production, design, test, and firmware teams
  • Facilitate technical deep-dives with engineering teams, cost analysis with global supply managers, and assembly/service evaluations with manufacturing and service engineers
  • Apply critical thinking to make data-driven decisions that advance key technologies aligned with Tesla’s mission
  • Define and drive schedules for new project launches, technology development milestones, and sustaining programs to ensure on-time delivery
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance precision and dependability while maintaining Tesla’s signature agility
  • Oversee documentation to track project status and issues, ensuring timely completion
  • Lead teams with confidence through rapid development cycles, evolving requirements, and uncertainty
