Job Description

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to enhance pricing operations through data integrity and strategic recommendations. The role involves analyzing pricing trends, supporting pricing initiatives, and mentoring junior analysts to improve overall pricing capabilities.

Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Accounting or a related subject required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
  • Operational experience in Cummins’ Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) tool for PowerGen business.
  • Working experience with Pricefx (Cummins specific application) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure pricing accuracy and data integrity by maintaining clean, reliable information across order management and rebate systems.
  • Drive informed decision-making by analyzing win/loss and quote data trends.
  • Recommend strategic pricing actions and support effective price execution for new products.
  • Lead pricing improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Create clear reports and present pricing conclusions to leaders.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through timely support on complex pricing issues.
  • Identify gaps and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor junior Pricing Analysts.
