Job Description

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Contract Manager to join their Data Center Design, Engineering and Construction organization. This role involves managing contracts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing processes to maximize contract value while minimizing risk.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management and supply chain operations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Legal Studies (JD), Business Administration, English, Engineering, Construction Administration, or equivalent
  • Experience in all Google applications and Adobe Sign (or similar electronic signing tool)

Responsibilities

  • Support the overall design and construction contract management function
  • Partner with Contracts team leadership and other business leaders to navigate complex operations
  • Drive cross-functional contracts risk and cost containment efforts
  • Understand applicable deal-to-contract policies and procedures
  • Proactively work with partners to deliver on various activities including budget planning and financial commitment monitoring
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive interactions
  • Coordinate and drive resolution to key business issues with legal and leadership
  • Serve as the point of contact for contract inquiries
  • Examine existing policies and procedures to optimize the end-to-end process
  • Share best practices and provide training to enhance contracting processes
