Job Description

The PA & Tax Associate role in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs involves working on the Portfolio Accounting & Tax team to develop and automate global tax platforms. The position requires expertise in cloud technologies, Java applications, and various data systems to enhance tax reporting solutions for high-net-worth clients.

Requirements

5 years of experience in Java & J2EE frameworks.
Experience with producing scalable software designs.
Experience in Spring, REST services, JMS, Hibernate/JPA, JSON is required.
Experience working with SQL based databases like Sybase or NoSQL like MongoDB.
Experience in writing automated tests is required.
Experience with designing/delivering messaging-based solutions (e.g. Kafka).
Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation.
Experience in working with CI/CD, GIT, Jira methodologies.

Responsibilities

Contribute to engineering leadership in architecting the platform components.
Act as hands-on developer to build and ship new features.
Produce scalable designs.
Influence the evolution of the platform architecture.
