Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water Engineer to support water quality and wastewater treatment projects in the Philadelphia area. The role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting inspections, and developing engineering plans and specifications.

Requirements

7 years of engineering experience focused on water and wastewater infrastructure design.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental/Structural Engineering.
Basic knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

Support compliance with state and federal environmental rules related to drinking water and wastewater treatment systems.
Conduct routine inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Write permits and develop engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
Conduct technical research related to water and wastewater treatment systems.
Review and evaluate compliance methodologies at facilities and provide feedback.
Prepare plans and specifications for facility upgrades.
Provide site inspection services during construction activities.
