Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at NVIDIA, you will develop and optimize large-scale cloud infrastructure to support AI and GPU platforms. You will collaborate with engineering teams to create cloud-native solutions, automate deployments, and ensure system reliability and scalability.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and operating cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, as well as in CI/CD tools and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience with IaC, configuration management, and cloud automation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, networking, and database technologies
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in cloud environments
  • Excellent solving, documentation, and multi-functional skills

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, automated cloud infrastructure for NVIDIA cloud platforms (e.g., DGX Cloud)
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and lead Kubernetes-based services
  • Partner with software engineering, platform, and product teams to design and deploy cloud solutions, integrating CI/CD and GitOps practices
  • Analyze and optimize system performance across networking, storage, and cloud application layers
  • Lead cloud migration, integration, and upgrade initiatives as needed
  • Develop monitoring tools and instrumentation for deep observability, and respond to reliability or performance issues
  • Mentor junior engineers and share guidelines in cloud systems, automation, and security

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
