Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support the direct procurement team, focusing on the raw material steel category. The role involves data analysis, supplier management, and internal stakeholder engagement to ensure optimal supply assurance and cost efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
1-2 years of experience in supply chain management, commodity management, engineering, or manufacturing environment
Strong analytical skills for data analysis and cost evaluation
Self-motivated and highly organized to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Knowledge and understanding of raw materials preferred
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

Support the raw material price negotiation process through data gathering and market analysis
Assist with procurement tasks such as supplier set up, PO creation & approval, and program tracking
Ensure proper execution and documentation of contracts and agreements
Manage category management tasks including spend analysis and strategic sourcing
Establish and support relationships across various functions within Tesla
Engage team members for accurate cost tracking and analysis
Analyze purchasing data and generate reports for senior management
Maintain a regular pace of work to meet priorities and timelines
