Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Track Engineer to join their North America mobility group, focusing on design support for Rail and Industrial Infrastructure projects. The role involves working with engineering teams to produce plans and specifications while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the engineering industry
  • Experience using industry-standard computer software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
  • Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and standards governing design and construction projects
  • Understanding of design aspects including alignments, layout, grading, drainage, and erosion control

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of engineering staff during the production of plans and specifications
  • Review regulations and standards necessary to conduct technical studies and carry out project design and permitting activities
  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and other data to develop technical design information
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design analysis and documents
  • Prepare reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and technical designs for projects
  • Address Request for Information (RFI) from contractors related to design documents
