Job Description

KLA is seeking a motivated algo engineer for its RAPID division, focusing on developing algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing. The role involves abstracting tasks into mathematical problems, identifying technical bottlenecks, and supporting customer deployments.

Requirements

PhD or MS in EE, Computer Science, Applied Math or related field
Significant experience in image processing, machine learning, or deep learning for imaging applications
Good knowledge of computational optics and high-performance computing
Experience in C++ production software development and object-oriented programming

Responsibilities

Develop algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing from requirements gathering to productization
Abstract specific tasks into generalized mathematical problems and devise customized algorithmic solutions
Identify technical bottlenecks and balance sophistication and computational complexity through data analysis
Work with applications to meet projected industry needs
Support customer deployments and ensure seamless integration of algorithmic solutions
