Job Description

KLA is seeking Electrical Design Engineers to join their talent community, focusing on PCB and system design. Candidates will work on producing designs, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring systems meet requirements. This role emphasizes innovation and problem-solving in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Requirements

Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 3 years of Work Experience OR Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years OR Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years.
Familiarity with common electronic blocks such as power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs.
Experience with OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle; ADS, Hyperlynx simulation experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Produce PCB designs, schematics, and work closely with layout engineers to fabricate printed circuit boards.
Work closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
Produce electrical system designs and work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure everything meets the requirements.
Design includes power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, and supporting hardware.
