Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer / Environmental Engineer to support various projects across the United States. The role involves collaboration with a team on civil design and environmental permitting projects, requiring familiarity with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Prior experience with soil erosion and sediment control (internship or full-time employment)
Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software

Responsibilities

Engage in land development planning, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and engineering calculations
Conduct erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout, and earthwork site design
Develop permit and construction-level drawings and details
Prepare technical specifications and reports for civil and environmental permitting
Conduct field assignments such as contractor oversight, site walks, and inspections
Provide office-based support for active construction projects, including submittal reviews and site layout information
