Job Description

Netflix is seeking a Senior Analyst for International Tax to join their quantitative analysis team. The role involves building complex financial models, collaborating with regional tax teams, and providing analytical support for various tax projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant international tax experience (public accounting, law firm, or industry); additional experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA, law degree, and/or Master’s degree in taxation preferred.
  • Extensive experience with US international tax issues, including foreign tax credits, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, CAMT, etc.
  • Strong understanding of the interdependencies among US tax provisions.
  • Basic familiarity with transfer pricing concepts.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (such as Excel and Google Sheets), with a demonstrated ability to work with large and complex data sets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial and tax models to quantify the tax cost or savings for various business plans and tax projects.
  • Provide modeling and technical analysis to support tax planning, compliance, and provision teams.
  • Collaborate with regional tax teams on cross-border projects and initiatives.
  • Research tax issues and prepare technical documentation.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax changes and assess their impact.
  • Assist on special projects and ad hoc requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support the international tax aspects of the company’s tax provision and compliance processes.

Benefits

  • Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
