Job Description

As a Data Scientist in the Customer Engagement Data Science team at Google, you will leverage your analytical skills to provide insights that drive customer success and improve product decisions. You will analyze data, perform statistical analysis, and communicate findings to influence cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) (or 5 years of work experience with a Master's degree).
Experience with statistical data analysis, experimental design (e.g., A/B testing), and causal inference.

Responsibilities

Perform analysis utilizing relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) to solve problems and take ownership of ambiguous business problems.
Build new processes, procedures, methods, tests, and components to anticipate and address future issues.
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business reviews with leadership teams.
Build and prototype analysis and business cases to provide insights at scale.
Influence across teams to align resources and direction.
