Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a skilled engineer to join their CAD team, focusing on developing and supporting tools for semiconductor products. The role involves architecting automated flows, collaborating with diverse teams, and utilizing advanced programming skills in C++ and Python to enhance chip build methodologies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • A BE, BTech, or MTech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven knowledge or experience with PnR flows and familiarity with Verilog, VLSI, and ASIC development principles, including logic cells.
  • Strong software engineering skills, including software design, algorithms, and QA.
  • Extensive experience in Python and C++ programming.
  • Knowledge of GenAI, LLM, and AI Code Generation is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to thrive in our collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architecting highly automated and customizable flows using software engineering with modular designs and object-oriented techniques.
  • Collaborating closely with our diverse team members to upscale methodologies for industry-leading chip builds.
  • Developing tools using C++ and Python, ensuring flawless integration and execution.
  • Engaging cross-discipline with VLSI organizations to identify and determine future challenges for successful implementation.
