Job Description

The Platform Customer Engineer at Google Cloud will partner with technical sales teams to provide cloud solutions to customers. This role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor, leading discussions, and delivering proofs-of-concept while focusing on customer needs and driving technical wins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
  • Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
  • Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Develop partner-specific, go-to-market solutions designed to accelerate sales cycles and drive measurable pipeline growth.
  • Lead the end-to-end technical partner relationship, from initial pilots and proofs-of-concept to final customer acceptance.
  • Oversee the migration phase by equipping partners with the necessary tools and resources for successful, high-quality deployments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and infrastructure to ensure cloud implementations.
  • Provide best-practice guidance to partners and customers to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Google Cloud solutions.
