Job Description

The Platform Customer Engineer at Google Cloud will partner with technical sales teams to provide cloud solutions to customers. This role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor, leading discussions, and delivering proofs-of-concept while focusing on customer needs and driving technical wins.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Develop partner-specific, go-to-market solutions designed to accelerate sales cycles and drive measurable pipeline growth.
Lead the end-to-end technical partner relationship, from initial pilots and proofs-of-concept to final customer acceptance.
Oversee the migration phase by equipping partners with the necessary tools and resources for successful, high-quality deployments.
Act as a trusted advisor on enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and infrastructure to ensure cloud implementations.
Provide best-practice guidance to partners and customers to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Google Cloud solutions.
