Job Description

Tesla is looking for a Software Development Engineer to enhance the automation and manufacturing of the Optimus Bot products. The role involves creating scalable data pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes through software and data integration.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in Software Development
Proficiency in Python, Go, and optional Javascript/Typescript
Knowledge of MYSQL and Clickhouse with query optimization skills
Experience with Rest APIs for data ingestion
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions, Jenkins, and Ansible

Responsibilities

Build scalable and reliable data pipelines for Optimus manufacturing lines
Monitor and maintain infrastructure health with robust alerting and logging
Collaborate with engineers on test software design and integration
Build automation and tools for analysis and visualization in mass manufacturing
Provide technical guidance on query and programming best practices
Maintain VMs for databases and testers in production
Automate software development pipeline and health monitoring alerts/logs
