EY is seeking a Real Estate Tax Manager to provide strategic tax consulting and compliance services within the financial services industry. The role involves analyzing complex tax operations, building client relationships, and supervising a team of professionals while navigating a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
CPA required, or be a member of a state bar.
A minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
Professional knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills.
Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
Strong influencing skills and the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to clients.
Learning and researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
Building client relationships and demonstrating knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.
Developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients' tax activities.
Researching clients' business operations and tailoring advice to their specific needs.
Supervising a motivated team of professionals to ensure they reach their full potential.
