EY is seeking a Real Estate Tax Senior Manager to provide strategic tax advice and manage complex tax operations for a diverse client base. The role involves leading teams, building client relationships, and developing tailored tax strategies in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
A CPA certification or be a member of a state bar.
Seven to ten years' of real estate tax experience, within a professional services environment.
Extensive knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills.
Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
Business development within the market.
Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
Strong influencing skills, and the confidence to question existing processes.

Responsibilities

Analyzing an evolving portfolio of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients.
Learning and researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
Building client relationships and demonstrating deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.
Developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients' tax activities.
Researching clients' business operations and building long-lasting relationships to tailor advice to their specific needs.
Supervising a motivated team of professionals, guaranteeing they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.
