Job Description

EY is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud platform architectures and DevSecOps automation for secure Azure environments. This remote role involves collaborating with diverse teams to enhance cloud practices while mentoring junior engineers in a highly regulated mission environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
5+ years in engineering roles working with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD
Experience building and running containerized workloads using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong foundation designing and troubleshooting networking fundamentals
Solid understanding of cloud security principles
Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC
Hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux server workloads
Practical automation experience using PowerShell

Responsibilities

Design and maintain reusable IaC for scalable, secure Azure environments
Implement and improve Azure Policies and initiatives
Engineer, automate, and deploy platform solutions using Kubernetes and Azure services
Develop and maintain base container images aligned to security baselines
Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and automation tooling
Troubleshoot and remediate issues in cloud and container platforms
Document and improve processes, collaborating closely with product managers and architects
Mentor junior engineers and promote a high-performing DevSecOps culture
