Netflix is seeking a Data Science Manager for Games Product and Platform to lead a team of Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers. This role focuses on leveraging data and analytics to enhance game product experiences and drive business strategy, requiring a blend of technical expertise and business acumen.

Requirements

10+ years of experience managing highly technical individual contributors
Deep understanding of data science, analytics engineering, and business analytics
Exceptional business acumen and ability to influence senior leaders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable with ambiguity and a collaborative approach
Ph.D. or advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field

Responsibilities

Enable measurement, analytics, and experimentation strategy for games discovery features
Drive experimentation for games-specific features and collaborate on shared surface experiments
Own the information flow of critical backend platform data
Coach and inspire a high-performing team, providing guidance and mentorship
