Job Description

The Software Test Engineer II position at Microsoft Azure Storage involves validating scalable and performant services on DPU nodes. The role encompasses all phases of the storage lifecycle, allowing for career growth and technical leadership development.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years software industry experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years software industry experience
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with networking and/or storage testing

Responsibilities

Identify the scope of testing to create a complex quality plan for multiple features.
Create commitments for test plans in multiple features to estimate the scope of work and agree on requirements with guidance.
Work with partners across teams to create and review test plans for multiple features.
Leverage available data to identify areas for additional exploration, development, or testing.
Contribute to efforts to apply best practices in automation and implement automated testing procedures using scripting languages.
Maintain and apply automation tools and encourage team members to apply automation throughout the testing process.
