Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to develop and implement test programs for electric vehicle components and subsystems. The role involves collaboration with various engineering teams to ensure high-quality product design and production, along with responsibilities in root cause analysis and test automation.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
Strong demonstrable experience in Power Electronics/power converter circuits for energy storage/automotive applications
Electrical/Electronic design experience a strong plus
Strong demonstrable hands-on experience with electrical test equipment: Power Supplies, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, and other common equipment
Proficiency in test automation frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, C++, etc.)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement test programs for electric vehicle high/low voltage distribution components and subsystems
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of test programs
Perform root cause analysis on failed components or subsystems
Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future failures
Develop and maintain automated tests using programming languages such as Go Lang and Python
Utilize Docker containers to deploy and manage test environments
Manage and maintain test code repositories using GitHub
Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Design, develop, and maintain test equipment and fixtures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
