Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer for Amazon eXperiences & Upskilling, you will design and build AI-powered solutions that enhance customer experiences. This role requires deep technical expertise in large language models and hands-on experience in architecting intelligent agent systems, focusing on creating inclusive products for a diverse customer base.

Requirements

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Experience managing and deploying ML products
Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Advanced prompt engineering expertise
Hands-on experience with MCP Tools and integrating agent frameworks
Strong knowledge of Amazon Bedrock's agents and model evaluation capabilities

Responsibilities

Design and build sophisticated AI agent systems leveraging LLM & SLM technologies
Architect scalable solutions using Amazon Bedrock's agent core technologies
Develop custom MCP servers and create intelligent automation
Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable transformative experiences
Provide Amazon's builders with processes and tools for inclusive product development
