Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer for Amazon eXperiences & Upskilling, you will design and build AI-powered solutions that enhance customer experiences. This role requires deep technical expertise in large language models and hands-on experience in architecting intelligent agent systems, focusing on creating inclusive products for a diverse customer base.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Experience managing and deploying ML products
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Advanced prompt engineering expertise
  • Hands-on experience with MCP Tools and integrating agent frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Bedrock's agents and model evaluation capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Design and build sophisticated AI agent systems leveraging LLM & SLM technologies
  • Architect scalable solutions using Amazon Bedrock's agent core technologies
  • Develop custom MCP servers and create intelligent automation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable transformative experiences
