Job Description

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an IT App Analyst II to transform business requirements into financial solutions, design and test applications, and act as a subject matter expert in financial systems. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams, managing projects, and providing strategic advice for technical projects.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or related field and 2 years of experience in job offered or a related occupation.
  • In the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or a related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience managing technical projects from design to release for large-scale software applications.
  • 2 years of experience in software application performance tuning.
  • 2 years of experience in hands-on Object Oriented coding and design using Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Transform business requirements to system capabilities to deliver financial solutions.
  • Design, configure, and test solutions that support the end user experience in AFFS financial applications.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to configure and automate accounting functions.
  • Advise customers on financial integration configurations and architecture.
  • Establish ongoing onboarding customer engagement review mechanisms.
  • Create governance mechanisms to drive change management for configurations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues with tooling provided by AFFS.
  • Advise business Software Development Engineers on converting business requirements into financial system workflows.
  • Review accounting and reconciliation configurations submitted by business SDEs.
  • Provide strategic advice for cross-functional Tech projects and programs.
  • Partner with project and program managers to secure resources and drive delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and govern key performance indicators reporting.
  • Manage post-launch support plans and identify opportunities for improvement.
