Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Workforce Solutions team, focusing on creating innovative capabilities for employees. The role involves developing and executing tests to ensure high-quality product delivery, contributing to the overall employee experience at Amazon.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Responsibilities

  • Understanding how all elements of the High Volume Hiring system work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy
  • Develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plans
  • Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
  • Finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
  • Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
  • Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
  • Ensure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionals
  • Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality
