Amazon's North America Sort Centers (NASC) are seeking skilled engineers to join the SPEeD team, focusing on building scalable solutions for operational complexities in the middle-mile logistics network. The role involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies in big data, machine learning, and optimization to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

3+ years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

Responsibilities

Build new services and experiences to improve usability and performance
Work with a wide range of teams and services across Amazon
Develop new platforms and science-based planning tools to match processing supply to logistics demand
Continuously innovate to address operational complexities and enhance customer experience
