Job Description

Amazon Logistics is seeking an innovative engineering leader to develop next-generation delivery stations and logistics systems. This role involves managing complex engineering projects, collaborating with various teams, and driving innovative solutions to enhance last-mile delivery operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
  • Experience with design & innovation and research & development
  • Experience with automation development and integration
  • 5+ years experience in management of engineering design projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead idea generation for innovative design/process solutions to existing operational problems
  • Create documentation to share innovative design/process solutions, process maps, design standards, etc.
  • Generate structured plan to turn innovative design/process solutions from ideas to assessment, pilot and finally expansion
  • Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting, financial approval and leadership approval for all stages of program progression
  • Act as SME expert in area of ownership, providing expertise to other Engineering teams, alongside providing challenge for suppliers and partners
  • Build large-scale business proposals based on innovation designs for WW Ops Engineering, often with ambiguity
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following through with requests and ensuring needs are met as accurately and immediately as possible
  • Own internal process innovations across the Engineering Org, including owning road-mapping and planning for given area of responsibility and ensuring roadmap is delivered
