Job Description

Meta is looking for a Connectivity Engineer to support telecommunication projects at their data centers. This role involves managing the project life-cycle, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in project management
Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders
Experience providing solutions to construction related problems
Experience with MS Office and Google Suites

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and report on site project and program scope, schedules and milestones
Continually review ongoing projects for efficiencies in schedule and budget
Support project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts
Establish milestones for equipment purchase and track and report against these milestones
Report progress and risks on site projects to key stakeholders
Work with installation partners to establish and track milestones
Responsible for all connectivity activities within construction projects on site
Perform physical inspections to ensure vendor work meets DEC quality standards
Develop solutions to in-field scope-gap or clash issues
Liaise with construction partners to ensure deliverables are met during new builds and retrofits
Ensure that vendors adhere to safety obligations
