The Pricing Analyst for Uber Advertising is responsible for defining and optimizing the global pricing strategy, focusing on rate card development and leveraging large datasets for data-driven pricing decisions. This role requires collaboration with various teams to maximize revenue and ensure competitive positioning in the advertising landscape.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Pricing Analytics, Data Science, or Data Analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL/Python/R for data extraction and analysis
- Fluency in BI/Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
Responsibilities
- Own Rate Card Development: Design, model, and maintain the global rate card pricing structure
- Build sophisticated pricing metrics dashboards and yield management tooling
- Leverage advanced analytical techniques on large datasets to establish and refine pricing models
- Partner closely with Product Management teams to define optimal pricing mechanisms
- Serve as the primary pricing liaison, collaborating with Data Science and Finance teams
- Deliver clear, actionable data insights and strategic recommendations to leadership
- Manage all internal and external communications regarding pricing updates
- Continuously monitor the advertising landscape and competitor pricing strategies
- Provide subject matter expertise to the Deal Desk or Sales teams
- Develop and refine analytical tools and reporting frameworks
