Job Description

Uber is seeking a full stack developer to build tools and services for managing configurations across its business areas. The role involves collaborating with various teams to design and implement a product configuration stack that enhances user experiences and supports faster product launches.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with frontend or full stack development
A degree in computer science / engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
Excellent coding and software design abilities
An eye for product design and a desire to provide great user experiences
Experience with React and Typescript, or similar technologies
Ability to drive complex projects from idea to launch and beyond

Responsibilities

Collaborates with stakeholders across Eng, Ops, PM teams to design & build the next generation of product configuration stack
Build large-scale, highly available (four 9s), and low latency systems
Design, implement, and ship reliable and well-tested features to users
Help define the future of the platform, both technically and product-wise
Scope the next big problem to solve by interacting with users and understanding relevant data
Coach and develop team members
