Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Must meet the minimum educational requirements to be 'Program Ready' to start the apprenticeship program.
- Registration in a certified apprenticeship learning program required.
- Some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
Responsibilities
- Develops capability to ensure model and drawing quality.
- Learns to create and maintain product specifications utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing.
- Utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for configuration control.
- Assists with the processing of internal engineering Work Requests.
- Learns to engage with required functional areas to review completed drawings and models.
- Assists with the design of components through layout studies and dimensional stack ups.
- Participates in improvement projects and maintains cleanliness within the workplace.
