Job Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a software business or systems analyst to support the Wealth Management Platforms team. The role involves collaborating with product owners and cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, manage data flows, and ensure effective communication of requirements for digital planning solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a software business or systems analyst
  • Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within scope
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • BA or BS preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support product owners with definition and prioritization of product roadmap
  • Assist with critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes
  • Support prioritized product backlog identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories
  • Assist with backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies
  • Specify acceptance criteria and perform user acceptance testing
  • Analyze, define, and manage data flows/models
  • Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit requirements
  • Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates
  • Gather and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new features
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information/interaction architecture
  • Team up with program management office to organize and plan product releases
  • Define, collect, and track KPIs and product/program adoption metrics
