Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director for its Investment Management audit team, focusing on assessing the quality and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes. The role involves leading assurance activities, engaging with stakeholders on risk management, and supporting cross-department projects.
Requirements
- Understanding of business line and key regulations relevant to coverage area
- Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools, and processes
- Ability to identify and analyze multiple data sources to inform point of view
- Ability to ask meaningful questions and adapt messaging accordingly
- A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication, project management and technical skills
- At least 4 years' relevant experience
- Relevant Certifications i.e., CIA, CPA, CIDA, CAIA, CFA preferred
Responsibilities
- Help identify risk and impact to relevant coverage area to prioritize areas of focus
- Execute and lead aspects of assurance activities to assess risk and formulate a view on the control environment
- Facilitate conversations with stakeholders on risks and their management
- Assist in managing multiple deliverables in line with team priorities
- Solicit and provide feedback and participate in formal and on-the-job training
- Support cross-department projects and initiatives
- Complete risk assessments and support focal areas projects
