The Institutional Platform Strategy Product Manager at Morgan Stanley will focus on building and scaling a shared service model for institutional clients. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance business offerings and operating models while driving strategic solutions using an agile framework.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, product management and/or business strategy/management related fields
- Undergraduate degree required
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both business and technical contexts
- Detail-oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Familiarity with wealth management platforms and vehicles
- Experience with agile framework/JIRA preferred, but not required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of large-scale and complex work-streams
- Own and enhance workflows and solutions around CRM prospecting, client onboarding, servicing, risk management and portfolio implementation
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, conceptualize, and define requirements
- Support all aspects of the product life-cycle including requirement gathering and user acceptance testing
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management
- Conduct primary and secondary research to define complex business problems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive adoption of new functions and applications for ICS and other cross-functional teams
- Plan and facilitate the rollout of Institutional Platforms’ product suite
