Job Description

As a Knowledge Analyst with Energy Solutions, you will support clients in the energy sector by improving performance and operations. Your role involves problem-solving, modeling, and analytical support, as well as collaborating with experts to develop tools and synthesize findings into reports and presentations.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, science, or other degree with a quantitative focus
1+ years’ experience (internships and/or full-time) and interest in the energy industry
Experience with modeling capability tools such as Python or R
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Tableau
Advanced problem-solving skills with a strong aptitude for working with numbers and quantitative models
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, results-driven team setting
Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in English, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

Provide daily problem-solving, structuring, modeling, and analytical support for Energy Solutions tools and analyses
Gather information to develop tools/benchmarks and synthesize findings into McKinsey-formatted products
Collaborate with other experts to solve client problems
Gain new skills and build on existing strengths through training and mentoring
