Job Description

Google is seeking a software engineer to develop next-generation technologies in Gen AI, focusing on LLM agentic features for enterprise customers. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to create and enhance product features that address complex tasks and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 2 years of experience working with core Gen AI technologies (LLM, RAG, Agents) or model training/post-training.
  • 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms (preferred).
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience in technical design, code contributions, and technical leadership (preferred).
  • Experience in production grade LLM-based applications (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical developments of prototyping, evaluating and improving LLM agentic features for enterprise GenAI customers.
  • Engage with Google Cloud customers to determine the best application of products to solve their problems.
  • Work with the infrastructure and front-end teams to turn prototypes into product features.
  • Collaborate with other engineers from Cloud and Research to deliver state-of-the-art Gen AI development.
