Job Description

Apple's Graphics, Gaming and Machine Learning group is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee GPU and Display Software Engineering projects for products like the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The role involves managing cross-functional communication, defining processes, and ensuring successful execution of GPU and Display development.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Background in CPU, GPU, or exposure to Display technologies is a strong plus.
  • Experience in introducing hardware into manufacturing or high volume production is a huge plus.
  • Ability to dive deep on technical topics and abstract information into actionable paths.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand technical concepts in various fields.
  • Ability to provide succinct, accurate executive summaries of complicated situations.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and tracking progress for Product Software deliverables from early hardware through launch.
  • Partnering with cross-functional groups to drive GPU & Display feature deliverables.
  • Establishing, managing, and communicating program feature plans and technical risks.
  • Identifying technical risk areas and mitigation strategies with subject matter experts.
  • Maintaining a multi-year roadmap of products and planned GPU & Display feature implementation.
  • Driving continuous improvements and increased efficiency across program management processes.
