We are looking for research scientists and engineers to drive innovations in machine learning, particularly in frontier models and the intersection of AI and science. You will collaborate with top-tier researchers and engineers to develop technologies that enhance the Apple ecosystem and contribute to prestigious scientific publications.
Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent academic or professional experience.
- Publication record in relevant conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, COLM) and scientific journals (Nature, Science, PNAS).
- Significant experience building complete prototypes that achieve state-of-the-art performance in your areas of expertise.
- Comfortable across the entire ML research stack, from low-level system programming to high-level algorithm development.
- Solid software engineering skills in complex systems.
- Fluency in Python.
- Expertise in ML algorithms and top practices for working with deep learning systems.
- Proficiency with ML modeling frameworks (PyTorch, Jax, etc.).
- Strong overall software development approach. You deliver clean, well-tested code.
